Agreement to Terms

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of Black Stag Contracting's website and services. By accessing our website or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Services

Black Stag Contracting provides professional construction and remodeling services including:

• Kitchen and bathroom remodeling
• Basement finishing and renovations
• Home additions and ADU construction
• Exterior and interior painting
• General contracting services
• Site preparation and foundation work

Project Agreements

All construction projects require a separate written contract that will include:

• Detailed scope of work and specifications
• Project timeline and milestones
• Total cost and payment schedule
• Materials and labor specifications
• Change order procedures
• Warranty terms and conditions

Payment Terms

Payment terms will be specified in your project contract. Generally:

• A deposit may be required to begin work
• Progress payments are due according to project milestones
• Final payment is due upon project completion
• Late payments may incur additional charges
• We accept various payment methods as specified in contracts

Warranties and Guarantees

We stand behind our work with comprehensive warranties:

• Workmanship warranty as specified in project contracts
• Material warranties as provided by manufacturers
• Warranty terms vary by project type and scope
• Warranty claims must be reported promptly
• Normal wear and tear is not covered under warranty

Limitation of Liability

Our liability is limited to the terms specified in individual project contracts. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability shall not exceed the contract value of the specific project.

Insurance and Licensing

Black Stag Contracting maintains:

• Current contractor's license in Washington State
• General liability insurance
• Workers' compensation insurance
• Bonding as required by law
• All necessary permits for contracted work

Change Orders

Any changes to the original scope of work must be documented in writing through a change order process. Additional work may result in additional costs and time extensions. All change orders must be approved by both parties before implementation.

Permits and Approvals

We will obtain necessary permits for contracted work as specified in project agreements. Clients are responsible for providing access to property and any required approvals from homeowners associations or other governing bodies.

Safety and Site Access

For everyone's safety:

• Work areas may be restricted during construction
• Clients must follow safety guidelines on active job sites
• We maintain comprehensive safety protocols
• Emergency contact information will be provided
• Site security is a shared responsibility

Intellectual Property

All designs, plans, and proprietary methods remain the intellectual property of Black Stag Contracting unless otherwise specified in writing. Clients receive usage rights for their specific project.

Dispute Resolution

Any disputes will be resolved through good faith negotiation. If necessary, disputes may be subject to mediation or arbitration as specified in individual project contracts. Washington State law governs all agreements.

Termination

Either party may terminate a project contract under conditions specified in the agreement. Termination procedures, including payment for completed work and material costs, will be handled according to contract terms.

Force Majeure

We are not liable for delays or inability to perform due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government actions, material shortages, or other unforeseeable events.

Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on our website with a new effective date. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of modified Terms.
